Can I use Woohoo products during pregnancy?Updated a month ago
Plenty of our customers do. But we're a cosmetics company, not your GP or midwife, so we won't tell you what's safe for your pregnancy. That's a call for you and your healthcare provider, and we'd always rather you asked them.
What we can do is give you everything you need for that conversation. The full ingredients list is on every product page, and if you'd rather we just sent it to you, get in touch with the product name and we'll send it over.
One worth raising with them is Black Seed Oil. It's traditionally taken as a food supplement, where it isn't recommended during pregnancy. We haven't found guidance either way on using it on skin, so we take the conservative route and suggest leaving it until after bub arrives.
Black Seed Oil is the only one we'd flag unprompted, and that's not the same as everything else being cleared. If there's an ingredient you've been told to avoid, tell us the product and we'll get you the list to check.
Two related questions people often ask alongside this one: which Woohoo products contain bio-retinols, and what we can tell you about the essential oils in our products.
