Why we’re discontinuing some sample sizes and refill optionsUpdated 2 months ago

In September 2025, we started the process of phasing out many of our skincare sample sizes and some refill formats.

This wasn’t an easy decision - especially knowing how helpful samples and refills can be. But after a lot of reflection, we’ve realised that in order to grow sustainably, we need to simplify.

As a small (but mighty!) team, every product we make requires love, time, and resources – from sourcing packaging to manufacturing and storage. Offering so many different sizes, especially in slower-selling formats, has started to stretch us too thin. It’s also created a lot of behind-the-scenes complexity and upfront costs, which can be tough on a small Aussie biz like ours.

More importantly, we want to make sure we’re doing justice to the products you love the most - by keeping them available, consistent, and beautifully made.

By focusing on our core product sizes, we can:

• Keep your everyday favourites in stock more reliably
• Reduce packaging waste and environmental strain
• Maintain the high quality you’ve come to expect from us

And while removing refill options means we’ll be relying more on plastic pumps for now (which isn’t our ideal), we’re proud to remain Certified Plastic Negative through our partnership with rePurpose Global. That means for every bit of plastic we produce, we fund the removal of twice as much from the environment. It’s not perfect – but it’s a step in the right direction while we work on even better solutions.

Will samples or refills ever come back?

It’s definitely possible! While we’re stepping away from offering these sizes regularly, we may bring them back as limited-edition or seasonal releases. If there’s something you’d love to see return, please let us know — your feedback really does shape what we do next.
