What's a good skincare routine for sensitive skin that flushes easily?Updated 2 months ago

Skin that reddens and reacts easily usually does better with less, not more. Keep it short, skip anything that scrubs or strips, and give a new product a few weeks before you judge it. Here's the three-step we'd start with:

  1. Cleanse - Cloud 9 Deep Cleansing Balm, lifted away with a warm, damp Konjac Sponge. No soap, no foaming, no squeaky-tight feeling afterwards.
  2. Hydrate - Raindrops Hydrating Face Mist. Organic rose otto hydrosol, aloe and Aussie botanicals, essential oil free, straight onto damp skin.
  3. Moisturise - Over the Moon Rich Repair Cream. Unscented, rich and cushioning, formulated for dry, sensitive and reactive skin.

The habits matter as much as the products: lukewarm water rather than hot, patting dry instead of rubbing, and introducing one new thing at a time so you know what your skin is actually responding to. If your skin is reacting persistently, it's worth seeing your GP or a dermatologist - we make cosmetics, not treatments.
