What is the Natural Fragrance in your Deodorant ingredient list?Updated a month ago

Natural Fragrance is how we scent three of our deodorants: Surf, Wild, and Drift. We also use it in our occasional limited edition scents.

It's a blend of isolated compounds from plant sources like fruits, essential oils, gums and resins, and not a synthetic fragrance (which is something we do not use at all!). Surf and Drift are scented with it alone, and Wild uses it alongside eucalyptus, lemon myrtle and cedarwood essential oils.

These blends are proprietary, so we can't break them down any further. But what we can share is the allergens they contain. Where a formula has one to declare, it's listed at the end of the ingredients list on the product page, in italics, under "Naturally occurring in essential oils".

The specific plant each allergen comes from isn't disclosed to us by our supplier, and it can vary depending on availability. Limonene, for instance, is found in eucalyptus as well as in nearly every citrus fruit.

If you'd rather avoid fragrance altogether, Mellow is unscented - no natural fragrance and no essential oils.
